Someday...

Someday I'll finish updating about the rest of our Disney trip but we are home. And have been for a while. This picture is from Kyler's Christmas Program at preschool. They were singing Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. Hence the antlers. I love his preschool. They are the best! Anyway. Merry Christmas!! Love you all and many blessings for the New Year.

Day 5 Finishing up the Magic Kingdom

We got a lot of rides out of the way at the Mickey Party. We started the day off in Frontier Land. Going on Splash Mountain and Big Thunder we went over and Watched the Country bears show. I know its a classic but the songs were shocking. Not PC at all. Next we went over to Adventure Land, rode the Pirates of the Caribbean ride with Jack Sparrow. I was disappointed that some of the other cast members of the movie weren't included. Oh well. Then we went over to the Tiki room. I really liked this one. Kyler had just had a mini meltdown before about the steering wheels so he did not enjoy this one. After this we went to the steering wheels where Kyler was happy again. While waiting on the Jungle Cruise Ride we walked up the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House. We finally made it on the Jungle Cruise. After this we made it over the Haunted Mansion(is this room actually stretching?) which Kyler surprisingly did pretty well on. We rode the Liberty Bell around Tom Sawyers Island, then headed on to Fantasy Land. We watched Mickey's PhilharMagic which I Mountain Railroad. I have pictures of Dan riding both rides but Dan wasn't able to get shots of me. thought was the best of all the 3-D shows/rides.

Animal Kingdom Day 4

On the 2nd day to Animal Kingdom. We started our day with a character breakfast at Tusker house with Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy. Then we headed out on the Animal Safari. I must saw that this was truly the way to have a zoo. The animals were all just out there. there were no barriers between us. Then on our way to Rafiki's Planet Watch Kyler had a little melt down. I took his picture during this melt down. At Rafiki's we went into the petting zoo this seemed to improve Kyler's mood. lastly, we ended the day with the Lion King Festival of the King. A great show similar to the Nemo show but not as good in my opinion.

Animal Kingdom Day 3

I'll try to get you all up to date. Its hard to blog because I can't scale the picture down and the take a long LONG time to upload. We split the Animal Kingdom into two days as well. We went to The park during the days and went to Mini Golf in the evening the first day and Disney Quest again tonight. (I forgot to mention this, we went here on Day one after Epcot.) Disney Quest rocks! Its a HUGE arcade where all the games are free. Its 5 floors of games. Day 1 we covered DinoLand andAsia. Our first stop of the day was Finding Nemo the Musical. It was amazing! It was close to my most favorite thing in Animal Kingdom. Dan did the Everest ride while Kyler and I didn't an animal trek. We also went on the Kali Falls Ride. Kyler was just a tad to short so we did theI'll try to see if I can get you all up to date. Its hard to blog because its takes so long to get the pictures to rider switch. We saw the Flights of Wonder bird show, also fantastic. Birds flying around showing of what they do best. Lastly, We watched Mickey's Jingle Jungle parade pretty good but not as good at the the Mickey Party Parade

Epcot Day 2

The second day at Epcot was donated to the rides and shows in the first part of the park.

We finnally found the elusive mouse. The whole reason for us to come here. Kyler was pretty excited once we got up there. The line was pretty long. We also got to see...

I kinda love this picture even though you can't see Kyler's face because he had just kissed Pluto!

Epcot Day 1

Okay so I got a little behind here . On the 10th and 11th we went to Epcot. I think I was more excited to go here than to the Mickey's Merry Christmas Party. I have never been to Epcot and have been to Disneyland so the Magical Kingdom is similar. We split Epcot into two days. The first day we went to the world showcase. We started at Mexico and worked our way around to Canada.

The Gran Fiesta ride in Mexico. These was the section that reminded me of its a small world.

Brumhilda and a scary viking. Just a note Dan didn't not put that hat on, his wife put it on his head. He is not responsible for himself looking like this. However, the child below is totally responsible for himself looking like that.

I wanted to include this one just for my mom. She loves dolls even though she told me the other day that she only likes the ones the kids gave to her. This store in China had a wall that was completely full of these beautiful Asian dolls.
Next up was Italy. We watched these street performers perform Romeo and Edna. They picked people from the audience to help it was too funny. The pagoda in Japan with drummers. They were extremely fast.

Kyler in Morrocco.
More street performers this time in France.
The whole family In England with Eyeore , Pooh and Tigger

Kyler with Papa Noel in Canada.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

We bought special tickets to go to this event. The park is decorated beautifully for the holiday season. This is what Cinderella's castle looked like. I couldn't really capture the how pretty it looked. We also saw a parade that is exclusive to this event and Mickey's version of Twas the Night Before Christmas. We went on lots of rides because the lines we low and met some characters.
