Easter

We spent Easter at home this year. Jay has a cold and mom wasn't feeling all that great either. I have a little cold still myself. The morning started off with me franticly trying to clean up the front room so I could hide the eggs and put out the baskets.
I made breakfast (eggs, Bacon and bunny pancakes) and Kyler and Dan made their way downstairs. We all ate breakfast together and then made our way outside to find those eggs. The rest of the day was a typical Sunday. Dan did a big burn pile. I cleaned the kitchen pantry. I made dinner with stuff I found in the pantry. Here are some pictures of Mr. Kyler

Eggs

yesterday. We had planned on having friends over and doing it all together but the night before I started to get a sore throat. I didn't think I should expose myself to other so canceled having the friends over and it was just me and Lets start with the good... I dyed eggs with KylerKyler. So lets see know I have a horrible case of poison oak. The beginnings of a staff infection on the poison oak. I fell down at the preschool of Tuesday so I have scraps on my elbow and knee and now I have a cold. Its almost ridiculous. I am hoping to enjoy some of our Easter tomorrow... Anyway I leave you with some pictures of our egg dyeing.

You got mail

Kyler got his first package in the mail yesterday from Grandma and Grandpa Edwards. He was pretty excited. When I got it out of the mail box he asked if it was for him and carried for the mail box up the driveway in the car...

He got a little yellow basket with some candy...

And a really cute Yertle the Turtle.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa. You rock!

Circus

I know! I know! I am a bad blogger! You don't have to tell me. I already know. I have looked at my blog and thought I really should blog but just don't. I guess life hasn't been all that interesting here lately. We did go to the circus last night and that was fun. We went with our neighbor friends from up the street and their little boy. The show was great but I kept thinking that our fairgrounds are in need of some serious revamping and really really need some paint. Dan's least favorite part was the clowns and Kyler's favorite part was the clowns. I liked the poodles seen here....

I thought that they rocked!

Afterward we let Davey and Kyler play with their newly purchased light swords. That was almost as entertaining as the circus.

You Belong in 1984

Wild, over the top, and just a little bit cheesy. You're colorful at night - and successful during the day.
