Weekend

Look at my little tiger... Grr.... We went to Diamond today the local home improvement store. They are having a anniversary sale and different activities. Kyler got his face painted. He got a cute t-shirt that says future do it yourself-er. He also got balloons and potted a plant.

I should be up stairs working on packing from my scrapbook retreat. Its getting closer... I am excited. Its the same weekend as national scrapbook day. May 5 for non scrappers. I need to figure out what all I want to take.

Dan is getting more supplies for the deck project even though it a very wet day and he probably won't be able to work on it.

So thats my weekend so far.........

Easter and updates...

So its a little late but we had a really good Easter. Kyler was still a little sick but mostly better. He got 4, yes 4 easter baskets. One from us , one from my dad, one from my mom and Jay and one from Danielle and Andrew. It is a ton of candy. He liked looking for the eggs but needed a little help finding some. This picture in at my mom's house. We had dinner over there Turkey and Ham. I made two cakes and German chocolate cake and strawberry cake with banana cream filing. They were really good. We brought over the Wei and everyone played including my mom. So fun!!

Dan has been working on the deck. We are hoping to have it done by June. Dan and Jay worked on it on Saturday while was in Medford shopping and watching a movie ;) I went with Leann and Cynthia for Leann's birthday. We went to see Perfect Stranger with Bruce Willis and Haley Berry. I liked it, Pretty suspenseful and a little bit of a surprise ending.

Other than that not a whole lot of stuff is going on. Just working and living, enjoying Kyler.

Easter bunny and eggs

This is Kyler on Tuesday. We went to see the Easter bunny at the mall with Maci and Leisa. He stood in line fine, watched Maci fine, but when it came to his turn he wanted nothing to do with the bunny until I bribed him with candy and even then he tried to get the bunny to hand him the candy so he didn't have to get up there. I put up there anyway and he was smiling and laughing. He is a weird child.

We picked up his spring pictures and did some shopping. The pictures turned out really good they have anew set up at the JCPenneys.

Yesterday we dyed Easter eggs. Kyler liked it He saw me using a color crayon on the eggs so he had to do the same thing. He is getting done the good manners thing fairly well, he kept asking for the crayon and say please and thank you.

He was also coming down with a cold yesterday and is sick today. We won't be able to go the park Easter Egg Hunt. Which is a bummer. I am hoping he will be feeling better by Sunday so we can atleast do the Easter festivities at home.

Party!

So friday was GeriMac's retirement party. Had a blast! This picture is from Applebee's later that night. It not the best picture of me but my girls look good. Dan came to the party and ate dinner but hightailed it outta there when the dancing started. I have missed dancing! I haven't danced that much since my high school prom. So fun. There were also some entertaining drunk's there which will remain nameless. I think it's always interesting to see people cut loose.
Saturday I did some scrapbooking I have yet to take pictures so I'll post those later. Sunday Dan worked out the deck and I took Kyler to the park. He had a good time he goes down all of the slides by himself. Such a big boy!
