A boy and his pirate pup...

I have been itching to use the camera lately. And I have. Last weekend I took Kyler to town and took some pictures out by the brick and fun places downtown. I need to post those some time. But this is my favorite of the moment. The pup's name is X like x marks the spot. Get it? Kyler thought that up himself. Anyway X is Kyler's favorite stuffed animal and I found the two of them sleeping like this on the couch.

My kid and some friends

We had the mom's group over yesterday. I normally don't take pictures anymore since we have been together a long time. But here are two of Kyler with his friends. The first one is Kyler, Stephanie and Jordyn. The second is Kyler with Sam. I'd like to point out that in both pictures Kyler is holding Lego's. Its turning into an obsession like the color yellow.

On a Mary note, I am very excited to be possibly traveling to New York City to see my friend Pia. Pia and I have been pen pals since around 1998. She cam for a visit here to Grants Pass in 2005. This is us at the Oregon Caves.

We are still trying to figure out the details but I am hoping to go in the middle of May.

A favorite

Kyler and I really like these Dino Magic Eggs. My mom first bought them for him like 2 years ago. I bought him the volcano at Ross for his birthday. Today we decided to get one from Fred Meyers.

They are basically bath fizzes with dinosaur parts in them. Each egg has a different Dinosaur in it. And you don't know what you end up with until it completely dissolves.

We lucked out and ended up with one of the Rare Dino's. That glows in the dark.

Holy Cow

So awhile back a friend at work asked me if I wanted to split a cow with her. Yes a dead cow. I decided to ask Jay to split my half with him. So I bought a quarter of a dead cow. Here is my quarter of dead cow all loaded in my freezer. I got a little giddy putting it all in there. Just something about knowing you have enough food to survive on for months. And we had some tonight and its yummmmmy dead cow too.

BORinnnng

Kyler keeps telling me that our house is boring. So today after work we found a craft in his National Geographic magazine to do. We made this Caterpillar from and egg carton.

I cut out the egg carton parts and Kyler painted most of the body. He did the antenna's or ears as he calls them and glued on the eyes.

I don't know if our house is still boring or not but we had fun for the time being. Its really warm here today I was sweatin' outside. The weather has been beautiful though.

We spent most of the weekend working again on the scrapbooking room. We have all of thewall insulation done. Dan finished hooking up the heating and cooling. The next time we work on it. We will be starting the ceiling insulation which might be a real pain.
