She is gone....

"I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next." - Gilda Radner

I love you mom...

I'm so sorry for everything you've had to go through. It's one of the most difficult things to go through when you have to say goodbye to your parent. Keep in mind the whole grieving process is different for everyone. You never know when you might just have to stop and go cry. When I heard about what you were going through and when she passed.....it brought me back to that whole time when I had to say goodbye to my own Dad. After twelve years, you still can have strong feelings and emotions. Now, I am grieving for you and your whole family. This is a huge loss for you and everyone in your family as well as anyone who knew Sandy. She was such a wonderful woman and rare in spirit for her unconditional love of people and animals. The world has lost someone extremely special.

Please take care of yourself and know that if you need someone to listen, I will be here for you.
Love,
Shauna
