Santa baby

I know I said I would post this sooner. But I didn't! We went to Jacksonville to see Santa. I wasn't impressed while he was nice and all. He was way too skinny to be Santa. Kyler didn't seem to mind. He told Santa that he wanted a Yellow Transformer. Good thing that is what mommy bought. ;)

I am still sick but its getting better. I think I'll be all good for Florida. Well I hope. Life is well a little sucky right now to say the least but its not something I am going to go into on a blog. Just think good thoughts for my mom.

I got lots to do and really should go do it, but before that one more random thought. Dan and I were getting gifts for the gifts exchange last night. We saw a Spatula with a light on it. I am not sure what this is about. I have never been using a spatula and thought wow this spatula could really use a light. It would be so much better for flipping things if I had a light on it.

3

Many birthday wishes for my little guy today. He turns 3. We are having his birthday party tomorrow and driving up for my great niece Kirra's party. They share the same birthday.

We had a little morning birthday celebration with just the 3 of us. Kyler got a cupcake and to open a few presents.

On a entirely different subject. I watched Oprah yesterday, she had Sean Penn on a he was promoting his new movie Into the Wild. I had never heard the story of Christopher McCandless. Very interesting stuff. I am not sure if he was stupid or a genius. I am thinking maybe a combination of both. But I have to admire him for stepping out of the box and having a little adventure. Makes me think I should be more adventuress, not to his extreme but something. I think I may read the book. Anyway I gotta go get ready to head up to RB and Party down with Kirra. :)

School House

School house that's what my dear Jay always referred to school as. "Its time for school house." "Time to go to sleep so you can wake up for school house." All the way up until I graduated. Now he is going to be picking my son up from school house. My time have changed :) Anyway Kyler is at school house right now as I type this. Neither one of us cried which is good. He just went right to playing as Dan and I made our exit. I imagine in about another half hour he will turn around and notice we are gone. :) I like the school already, they gave us print out of what the kids schedule is and what they are going to be doing. I don't have to wonder. And they took pictures of us coming through the door.

Anyway I am going to go enjoy some of this free time I have by cleaning up the kitchen. Here are a couple more pictures for you enjoyment.

Last swim...Yes its my last swim...

Yesterday night was Kyler's very last progress. We went from crying and whining to lots of swim and giggles. He jumped of the diving board all on his own last night. I think he really loves jumping in the water. I say no he is dangerous. The fear is mostly gone and now he just like the water. Dan and Grandma Sandy went to cheer him on. My mom was truly astonished by how young some of the kids are swim class. He has made amazing in the group and how well they swim or dive.
I am on a interview panel today at work for the new supervisor position. So I guess I better go beautify myself. Here are a couple more pictures from last night.

Life Saving Day

Here are some pictures from Life Saving day at swim class. The kids have to wear their everyday clothes so they can feel how much heavier the clothes get when wet. They also do stuff with their life jacket. Last night was the last day of the first session. Dan came to watch and Kyler did great! I told Dan he was going to have to come every week. We have two more weeks to go.

I forgot to mention that I enrolled Kyler in Preschool. He will be going 3 days a week for 2 1/2 hours. We both are very excited. The lady that runs the Preschool used to run the Merlin Scrapbook store so Kyler and I both know her fairly well.
