First 20

I don't know how many of you have noticed my weight ticker. But its above this blog. About the middle of January I decide to make some changes to my lifestyle. I increased the number of times I went to the gym each week and I made some changes to my diet. Starting slowly I have managed to take off 20 lbs. Which may seem like a small feat to some. I have always been heavy and but this has been hard and I just wanted to take a moment and celebrate myself. Good Job Mary!!

Sick again!

Well either Dan gave it back to me or I managed to will it away so I could scrapbook. I don't know but cold I started to come down with before is back.

Also on Mothers day Kyler somehow injured his knee or his leg and wouldn't walk on it. all night. He was crawling to the potty to toys. I called the on call doctor and they told me if he was still doing it the next day to bring him. So the next morning I took the day off from work because he wasn't walking. Just as we were about to leave he walked a little bit. We got to the doctors and he walked for the doctor. The doctor said he probably sprained or pulled a muscle. He still limps on it occasionally. But he is fine. He did manage to do this to his face yesterday. The pen went from ear to ear.

I guess I should go eat some breakfast and clean up the house a bit. Maybe today will be the day the week turns around :) cause so far it sucks

Happy Mother's Day to me!

Hello boys(? I don't think there are boys reading my blog) and girls! I got back from my retreat about 2:30 . I had a BLAST and I so mean it. Meet some very fun girls. Thanks for scrappin with me girls. I got 17 layouts done and started a two page layout that I didn't quite finish. I really love some of these layout while some are just okay. And is it work to be looking at the schedule and thinking hmm when can I go next. Really it was that fun. I won 3 things. I won a drawing, the pop quiz about the website and the person who use the most suggestions from the suggestion box. I got some Disney stuff with a mickey mouse punch, a paper pack and some cutter bugs. Anyway here are the layouts......

Feeling a little crapy and very crabby...

So this Friday I will be going to My croptime retreat. Last time I went I got sick and the weekend sucked a little cause I felt so bad. So Sunday when I woke up with a sore throat I was not happy. I have been downing the vitamins c and I am feeling a little better this morning. However I am grumpy!! My poor child has to be with me today. I am trying to go easy on him though :) Thats all I have going on today well besides cooking and cleaning.
Kyler has been doing really well potty training and then last night we had a couple of set backs. He has gotten really good at going pee but not so good at the other. We have a cute sticker chart and when he gets to the end he gets something really good. I haven't decided what it is. Any suggestions??

Well I am going to try and pack some more.

Weekend

Look at my little tiger... Grr.... We went to Diamond today the local home improvement store. They are having a anniversary sale and different activities. Kyler got his face painted. He got a cute t-shirt that says future do it yourself-er. He also got balloons and potted a plant.

I should be up stairs working on packing from my scrapbook retreat. Its getting closer... I am excited. Its the same weekend as national scrapbook day. May 5 for non scrappers. I need to figure out what all I want to take.

Dan is getting more supplies for the deck project even though it a very wet day and he probably won't be able to work on it.

So thats my weekend so far.........

Easter and updates...

So its a little late but we had a really good Easter. Kyler was still a little sick but mostly better. He got 4, yes 4 easter baskets. One from us , one from my dad, one from my mom and Jay and one from Danielle and Andrew. It is a ton of candy. He liked looking for the eggs but needed a little help finding some. This picture in at my mom's house. We had dinner over there Turkey and Ham. I made two cakes and German chocolate cake and strawberry cake with banana cream filing. They were really good. We brought over the Wei and everyone played including my mom. So fun!!

Dan has been working on the deck. We are hoping to have it done by June. Dan and Jay worked on it on Saturday while was in Medford shopping and watching a movie ;) I went with Leann and Cynthia for Leann's birthday. We went to see Perfect Stranger with Bruce Willis and Haley Berry. I liked it, Pretty suspenseful and a little bit of a surprise ending.

Other than that not a whole lot of stuff is going on. Just working and living, enjoying Kyler.

Easter bunny and eggs

This is Kyler on Tuesday. We went to see the Easter bunny at the mall with Maci and Leisa. He stood in line fine, watched Maci fine, but when it came to his turn he wanted nothing to do with the bunny until I bribed him with candy and even then he tried to get the bunny to hand him the candy so he didn't have to get up there. I put up there anyway and he was smiling and laughing. He is a weird child.

We picked up his spring pictures and did some shopping. The pictures turned out really good they have anew set up at the JCPenneys.

Yesterday we dyed Easter eggs. Kyler liked it He saw me using a color crayon on the eggs so he had to do the same thing. He is getting done the good manners thing fairly well, he kept asking for the crayon and say please and thank you.

He was also coming down with a cold yesterday and is sick today. We won't be able to go the park Easter Egg Hunt. Which is a bummer. I am hoping he will be feeling better by Sunday so we can atleast do the Easter festivities at home.

Scrapbooking

Party!

So friday was GeriMac's retirement party. Had a blast! This picture is from Applebee's later that night. It not the best picture of me but my girls look good. Dan came to the party and ate dinner but hightailed it outta there when the dancing started. I have missed dancing! I haven't danced that much since my high school prom. So fun. There were also some entertaining drunk's there which will remain nameless. I think it's always interesting to see people cut loose.
Saturday I did some scrapbooking I have yet to take pictures so I'll post those later. Sunday Dan worked out the deck and I took Kyler to the park. He had a good time he goes down all of the slides by himself. Such a big boy!
