Scrap Challenge

I have been doing this Scrap Survivor challenge. This challenge was a progressive layout...

Start with:
4 pictures
3 sheets of cardstock
4 sheets of patterned paper

Every couple days she posted something else to add. I didn't get a picture every step of the way but you'll get the idea.

2/21 ADD 5 BRADS (ANY COLOR, ANY SIZE)

2/22 ADD 4 DIFFERENT RIBBONS (THEY CAN COORDINATE BUT CAN NOT BE IDENTICAL)

2/23 ADD 1 ALPHABET SET (STAMPS OR STICKERS - YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE EVERY LETTER Smile [:)])

2/24 ADD 2 CHIPBOARD SHAPES (FINISHED OR
UNFINISHED, ANY SHAPE OR SIZE)
2/25 ADD 3 ITEMS NOT PREVIOUSLY LISTED (THIS CAN INCLUDE JOURNALING. EACH TYPE OF ITEM IS
CONSIDERED 1...IN OTHER WORDS 3 FLOWERS WOULD
BE 1 ITEM)

YOUR LAYOUTS ARE NOW FINISHED.

Fun stuff huh!

28

So I am 28 now. My birthday was pretty low key this year lunch with Dawn, Kathie, Jamie and Rachel (girls from work) at Blue Stone. Went over to mom's and had Matsukaze for dinner. Yum! Yum! Dan and Kyler (mostly Dan) made me a cute cake. Didn't get a picture of it this year. Mom and Jay got me a really cool scrapbooking hobby cabinet from Fred Meyers and Dan got me another one to match. We haven't gotten them together yet. I'll take a picture when they are. Kyler got me a girl pirate toy. (He picked out all on his own can you tell) Dad got me a gift certificate to the Brewery and my in-laws got me a gift card to Michaels. It was a loot filled birthday :)

I have been working on the Disney scrapbook. I am going for a nice but simple and clean look. I don't wanna go to over the top as I might not be able to keep it going. I like the pages so far.

Just living

My mother in law told me I had been a very very bad blogger. So here is one picture from the time that they cam down after Thanksgiving. We have been so busy just living that I haven't blogged in a while.
We are 6 days and counting for Disney. Yesterday I did most of our packing and washed the remaining clothes that need to be packed. I went over the final details of the Silver Creek party with Suzanne. I think its very sad that the two people who don't work at Silver Creek are playing the party but hey it wouldn't happen if it wasn't for us. I also put together my little gifts for everyone at the party from the Edwards family. I got the idea from Ali Edwards(no relation) blog so I can't take all the credit. But I am quite happy with the cost. 4 dollars to take care of all the office.
Today we are going over to Jacksonville with Jay and Mom to see Santa and just hang out a bit. I hope its nice.
And lastly I am getting a sore throat and stuffy nose 6 days before Disney. I am calling my doctor 1st thing in the morning to see if she can get me anything to prevent a full on sickness in Florida. It better not happen!

Here are my CHEAP Silver Creek gifts. They are monogrammed ornaments. The are Rich and Suzanne's. I bought the clear ornaments from the dollar store 3 to a pack .33 cents each and the monograms are just stickers I had in my scrap stash. Dan poop pooped the idea but then said he was happy with the cheapness factor. I think they turned out pretty cute.

Layouts for the Crop

As I promised here are the layouts from the crop. I got 7 total done which I thought wasn't too bad at all.
This was a Blue Print Challenge from Amy Elkins. I won the challenge along with two other people and we got Amy's book Layout Blueprints 2.

This and the next two are part of a class I am taking on Big Picture scrapbooking.
