Snowy Saturday

I am sick with a cold but we got some snow here in Grants Pass.
Dan took Kyler out and I stood on the deck for a minute taking pictures, then
I got my booty back in the nice warm house.

Dan actually took this one. I took the rest.

How I sent my weekend... Part 1

Saturday we took a drive over to Klamath Falls and went to an Air Show at Kingsley Field. The Thunderbirds were there! This was thier only appearance in Oregon this year so it was a wee bit crowded. They were worth it though. Kyler enjoyed checking out all of the Air Planes on the ground. Here he is in the a Helicopter.

This was called the Heritage flight. Both Dan and thought it was really cool. Its a F-15 Eagle and P-51C Mustang flying together representing the past Air Force and present.

Kyler didn't enjoy the noise from the F-15 Eagle

More Thunderbird Pictures, they were my favorite.
Then we headed over and down to the Lava Beds National Monument in California to camp for the night. I'll have to post these later though because a small child is requesting that I go to bed and I need to bathe before I do.

Railroad Park

I forgot to talk about the Railroad Park. We went here on Sunday. Its over in Central Point on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month up until October. We had so much fun! There is no admission charge but I bought Kyler a engineer hat and we bought some food there and of course I donated money as well. The park is run by volunteers. They have lots of cars for you to get into. A train ride, well two train rides and there is a building full of model trains. Kyler really liked and Dan and I had a blast!

Other than that one the weekends Dan has been working on our backyard a lot. We are putting in a retaining wall for the pool and need to get the in-ground sprinklers in so that we can plant some grass. I am hoping its is at least a little grassy by Sept. so we can have Kyler's birthday out there. Its still a pirate them for the moment. I tried to switch it to a Train theme and have it at the Railroad Park, Oh lord! Do not try to switch it up on that child.
